Since the summer of 2017, the Belgian photographer has been living, with her husband and her twelve-year-old son, along the East River in Long Island City (Queens). In the morning, as soon as they leave for the office and school, she leaves her home, armed with her Nikon camera and her iPhone.

“The Irish Hunger Memorial is a little piece of Ireland in the heart of Manhattan. This memorial site is dedicated to the more than one million Irish who died during the Great Famine which ravaged Ireland in 1845 and resulted in an influx of emigration to the United States I discovered this monument during a walk along the East River and was so intrigued that I have returned there several times. interior, it is very particular.
