Opened in 2009, Turkuazoo is Turkey’s first giant aquarium. The aquarium is located inside the Istanbul Forum shopping mall and contains an 80m long underwater tunnel. Turkuazoo is known to be home to around 10,000 marine creatures including tiger sharks, giant rays and piranhas.

6. Monterey Bay, USA

The aquarium is located in a former sardine cannery in Cannery Row, Monterey, California, United States. The main tank of this aquarium is about 10 meters high with a capacity of about 1.2 million liters of water.
