Caroline Jurie takes the stage and makes a stirring announcement. He conveyed to the audience that the winner of the beauty contest must be married or not divorced.
Meanwhile, Pushpika De Silva was accused of having divorced, so Jurie insisted that De Silva should not be crowned the winner in the contest.
“There are rules that do not allow married and divorced women. That’s why I took steps to give the crown to second place,” said Jurie, quoted by the BBC.
Caroline Jurie hurried over to Pushpika De Silva, who had just delivered the victory speech. Without the wearer’s permission, he removed the crown on Pushpika De Silva’s head.
After revoking Mrs. Sri Lanka 2021, Caroline Jurie pinned the crown to the winner of the second winner contestant. Pushpika De Silva looked devastated and immediately turned to leave the stage, Bunda.
