7 Diseases Caused by Fungal Infections, Not Just Ringworm

6. Fungal eye infection

7. Fusariosis

This disease is caused by a variety of different fungi in the genus Fusarium. The infection generally affects the eyes, skin, or nails. In some patients, symptoms may include: fevercough, and chest pain.
