The seven-day incidence value for the district of Emmendingen was 51.1 on Thursday and thus slightly higher on Wednesday when it was given as 46.3.
In the status report of the State Health Office on Wednesday, 14 new cases of corona infection were reported for the district, and a further 20 on Thursday. The number of people who died from or with Covid19 did not increase and is still 156 in total.
The national value of the seven-day incidence was given on the holiday as 119.0, the day before as 127.7. In the neighboring Ortenau the stated seven-day incidence on Thursday was 86.8, in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district 49.3 and in the city of Freiburg 74.8 – all values were lower than in the Emmendingen district the day before.
