Scientists around the world have discovered several similar planets Land. are they livable?
Since 1995, scientists have discovered nearly 2,000 alien planets. The discovery was made by NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope on a mission to find out how many Earth-like planets exist in the entire Milky Way galaxy.
To qualify for a habitable planet, a planet must be relatively small and orbit in the habitable zone of its star. Furthermore, it must also have the presence of water in liquid form on its surface.
As telescope technology improves, other factors also increase, such as the composition of the planet’s atmosphere and how active its parent star is.
Summarizing the SPACE page, here are seven Earth-like or imitation planets that have been discovered.
7 Artificial Planet Earth
1. Kepler-22b
Kepler-22b is one of the replica planets of Earth discovered in 2011. It is located 600 light years from Earth and orbits for approximately 290 days.
Kepler-22 b is also the first Kepler planet to be found in the habitable zone of its parent star. This planet is much larger than Earth which is around 2.4 times larger. It is unclear whether this “super-terrestrial” planet is rocky, liquid or gaseous.
2. Kepler-69c
Kepler-69c is about 2,700 light-years away or about 70% larger than Earth. The planet completes an orbit every 242 days. Consequently, its position in the solar system is comparable to that of Venus.
Well, the parent star of Kepler-69c is about 80% brighter than the Sun. It makes it appear that the planet discovered in 2013 is in the habitable zone.
3. Kepler-62f
Planet Kepler-62f is 40 percent larger than Earth and orbits a star much colder than the Sun. The planet was discovered in the same year as Kepler-69c.
Kepler-62f orbits for 267 days. As a result, the Kepler-62f is located right inside the habitable zone. The Kepler-62 system is about 1,200 light-years away.
4. Kepler-186f
The planet is 10 percent larger than Earth and is located in the habitable zone of its star. However, Kepler-186f only receives a third of its acquired star’s energy Land from the sun.
Kepler-186f’s parent star is a red dwarf. The planet, discovered in 2014, is about 500 light years from Earth.
5. Kepler-452b
Kepler-452b was discovered in 2015. According to NASA, Kepler-452b is the most Earth-like planet discovered so far.
Its parent star is very similar to our Sun and the planet orbits in the habitable zone. Kepler-452b is located 1,400 light years from Earth.
6. Gliese 667 Cc
This planet is only 22 light years from Earth, 4.5 times larger than Earth in size. This planet was discovered exactly 10 years ago.
Gliese 667Cc orbits in a very short time, which is only 28 days. But the star Gliese 667c orbits is a much colder red dwarf than the Sun.
7. LP 890-9c
The latest clone of the Earth is LP 890-co “Super Earth”. This planet is 40 percent larger than Earth and has oceans.
The planet discovered in September 2022 was discovered by NASA’s newest James Webb telescope and is estimated to orbit the star for 8.5 days.
Well, these seven planets are planets called ‘Land imitation ‘and potentially habitable. Interested in living there, Detikers?
