House of Nature will organically intertwine with the surrounding nature and will be 7.5 meters high and more than 50 meters long. Visitors can step into the artwork through a passage that is shaped like a human.
Artist Will Beckers: “House of Nature places people at the center as an individual and in relation to the larger whole. As a visitor you feel small because of the large dimensions of the artwork. But at the same time, the work is very accessible and creates a unique window on the nearby nature.” It is completely constructed of steel. The outside consists of thousands of steel plates, which are welded together.
The art installation includes a picnic location, a green forest room and tables with stylized drawings of animals living in Bosland.
