A 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Thursday, as reported by international agencies.
In fact, it is reported that a tsunami warning has also been issued, which is approaching southwest Miyazaki.
The warning applies to coastal areas on the southern Japanese islands of Kyushu and Shikoku, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
The quake struck less than 20 miles off the coast of Miyazaki, according to the United States Geological Survey.
In the area there is also the nuclear power plant of Sendai, Japan, in Kagoshima Prefecture. The factory has not presented any problem in its operation, after the earthquake, and that is why the work in it continues normally.
Japan is a fairly seismic country, and in April, there were other equally large earthquakes.
