6th Grade Elementary School Boy in South Jakarta Dies after Falling from 4th Floor

A 6th grade elementary school boy in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, was rushed to hospital after fell from the 4th floor of the school building. Recently, the victim was revealed die.

“It’s true (died), it couldn’t be helped,” said Pesanggrahan Police Chief Commissioner Tedjo Asmoro when contacted, Tuesday (26/9/2023).

Tedjo said the victim had been handed over to the family.

“The family has been going to the hospital since morning. Because the house is not far from the school,” he said.

Previously, the victim was rushed to Fatmawati Hospital after falling from the 4th floor of the school building. The police said The victim fell while playing with his friends.

“While playing on a pillar, he fell, not committing suicide. His teacher also saw his position there. (Falling from) the 4th floor,” explained Tedjo.

Tedjo said the victim fell this morning. He denied that there was information circulating that the victim committed suicide or was bullied by his friends until he finally fell.

“He was playing on a fallen pillar. There wasn’t any (bullying), while we’re asking, there wasn’t any bully-bullyat school, especially if you’re still an elementary school student. “Earlier we asked all the teachers,” he said.
