Beijing, 06/08/2020 (The People Online) – A total of 6,822 students from rural central and western China will enroll in free five-year programs this year to pursue a medical degree, the Chinese Ministry of Education reported.
The annual enrollment plan is part of a program financed by the Central Government for the training of health professionals who serve in municipal institutions in the central and western regions.
Students may be enrolled in majors including clinical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, Mogan traditional medicine, Tibetan traditional medicine, and Dai ethnic medicine, requires a circular issued by the Ministry of Education.
Eligible applicants must be from rural China and take the national university entrance exam.
