In La Roche-sur-Yon, the Georges-Mazurelle public mental health establishment awarded the long service medal to 68 hospital employees.
41 received the silver medal for 20 years of career and were invited to carry out the mission of mentoring new arriving employees.
19 received the vermeil medal for 30 years of activity, invited to ensure the passing of the baton between generations of employees. And finally, eight received the gold medal for 35 years or more of presence in the public hospital service.
They were thanked by Florence Pineau, president of the supervisory board, for their “attachment to the values of the service publicteam spirit, institutional dynamics, perseverance and their strength of commitment”.
She continued: “Some of you are also witnesses to the constant evolution of our health system, and its many reforms over the last 30 or 40 years. »
She also wanted to highlight “the contribution of each person to the quality of reception of the patients and residents entrusted to us, a population that is often fragile and vulnerable”.

As part of the Information Weeks on mental health in Vendée, several events are planned: Monday October 7, film debate Loup and is-you? at 8 p.m. at the Cinema Le Concorde in La Roche-sur-Yon. Price: €6.50 and €4 for under 18s. Discussion with director Clara Bouffartigue and interventions by Dr Richard, Dr Cailleau, Ms Ziadi and Ms Guilmineau.
