67 People in Blora Died of HIV/AIDS, Most are Housewives

Liputan6.com, Blora – A total of 67 people in Blora died from being infected with HIV/AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) in the last 5 years. This was at least revealed by the Head of the District Health Office Blora, Eddie Widayat.

He said, every year the case continues to increase. The infected people are housewives, drug users and babies of mothers who are PLWHA (People with HIV and AIDS).

“Most of them are housewives. We studied several factors because they were infected by husbands who had sex outside of marriage,” said Edi Widayat to Liputan6.com on the front page of the Secretariat of Blora, Wednesday (1/12/2021).
