Construction is nearing topping out on 660 Lexington Avenue, a 19-story residential building in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Zproekt Architecture and developed and built by Sergey Rybak of Rybak Development, the 233-foot-tall structure will span 52,558 square feet and yield 23 condominium units with an average scope of 2,123 square feet. The building will also contain 2,551 square feet of commercial space, 1,174 square feet of community facility space, and a cellar level. The property is alternately addressed as 133 East 55th Street and located at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 55th Street.
More than a handful of new floors were added since our last update in August, when the reinforced concrete superstructure had just reached the tenth floor setback. Construction halted toward the end of 2024 but has recently resumed, and recent photos show the building closing in on its pinnacle behind a dense shroud of scaffolding and black netting. Some of the floor-to-ceiling windows have already been installed, and the structure could potentially top out before the end of winter.

The site was formerly occupied by a two-story commercial structure, as seen in the following Google Street View image. The Biagi family sold the property to Rybak Development for $24 million in December 2021.
The rendering in the main photo shows the upper half of 660 Lexington Avenue’s southern elevation. The façade is composed of light gray paneling with vertical scoring between the floor-to-ceiling windows, which are arranged into two-story groupings with bronze-hued spandrels on the upper floors. The setbacks are shown lined with glass railings for terraces, and the structure culminates in a multifaceted bulkhead enclosed in a bronze-hued screen matching the appointments below. Light fixtures on the upper levels will illuminate the crown at night.
The closest subways from the new development are the E and M trains at the Lexington Avenue-53rd Street station to the south, with a connection to the 6 train at the 51st Street station.
660 Lexington Avenue’s anticipated completion date is slated for the winter of 2025, as noted on site.
