A 65-year-old came away with a fright on Sunday, August 13, 2023, around 2:00 p.m., who was traveling alone on the Schluchsee with her so-called “single-handed dinghy”, a small sailing boat.
The lady had capsized in the middle of the lake and was calling for help when a motorboat passed her.
Immediately afterwards, rescue workers were able to get the woman out of the water unharmed.
In addition to the rescue workers – notified via the integrated control center in Freiburg
– a police patrol from the Titisee-Neustadt police station was also on duty.
