Personal scholarship recipient of the Volgograd City Duma Milana Soldatova is a student of children’s art school No. 11. She is one of 65 schoolchildren who this year took prizes at all-Russian and international Olympiads, competitions and competitions. And they receive deserved recognition for this.

Scholarships have been awarded to gifted children in Volgograd for a quarter of a century. The students will receive financial incentives in the amount of 1,500 rubles monthly during the academic year.

I’m receiving a scholarship for the first time, it’s very exciting and very nice. I am a soloist of the exemplary folk ensemble “Yagodka”. We participate in many competitions,” she said student of Children’s Music School No. 8 in Volgograd Varvara Yandieva.
The main task of all adults – coaches, teachers, parents, government officials: to do everything necessary to support children and give them support for the future, an incentive to further develop and achieve the most daring heights.
I see how the guys had a sparkle in their eyes, how it motivates them. I am sure that they will not stop there, that they will increase their awards and their achievements. And I am sure that they will definitely, as now, be proud of the fact that they are scholarship holders of the hero city of Volgograd, just as the residents of the city are proud of our children,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Volgograd City Duma Gennady Kuznetsov.
For the third time, Kira Vyshinskaya, bronze medalist of this year’s Russian Championship in chess composition, member of the Volgograd region youth team, became a scholarship recipient of the Volgograd City Duma.
