The cantonal police report that this afternoon just before 3pm, a 64-year-old man fell for a hundred meters into an escarpment. He is a Swiss citizen living in the canton of Aargau who was cycling with an acquaintance in the area of Mount Bar.

On the spot, agents of the cantonal police and the REGA rescuers intervened who, after the first treatment and recovery operations, then proceeded to transport him to the hospital. According to an initial medical evaluation, the 64-year-old sustained serious injuries.
