Magdeburg. On Thursday morning, April 20, 2023, a 64-year-old woman from Magdeburg was contacted by previously unknown perpetrators via messenger. They posed as their daughter and pretended to need financial support. For this purpose, the injured party transferred a sum in the lower four-digit range to a transmitted IBAN. After she subsequently contacted the police, further investigations are now ongoing.
