He informed that law enforcement agencies have initiated 436 cases of early signs of war crimes.
11 places of deprivation of liberty were identified and torture took place in four of them.
“Now they are being investigated by investigators and every act of torture is being recorded, witnesses are being found and the bodies are being exhumed,” the minister said.
Monastirsky also announced that a search for collaborators had begun and 16 checkpoints had been set up around Kherson.
“763 people have already been checked, five of them were arrested and handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine on charges of collaborationist activity. Polygraph examiners are also working, checking people who may have collaborated with the occupiers. We have lists, people are sharing information about who held some positions, who collaborated with them (occupiers),” noted Monastisrskis.
