Women’s shelters offer women who suffer violence in the family and their children a safe place to live. In total there are around 30 women’s shelters in Austria, which are networked in two associations (see links). The houses are open to all women affected by violence. Income, nationality or religion play no role.

This Viennese advice center is open to girls and women affected by sexual violence. It is also aimed at family members, colleagues, teachers or friends of those affected who need advice. Legal steps can also be discussed.

Intervention center for those affected by trafficking in women
