609 are newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours. This is 59 cases more than yesterday, according to the Unified Information Portal. 17 people have lost the battle with the insidious virus.
A total of 9082 tests were performed for the last 24 hours. Of these, 1409 were tested by PCR and 7673 by antigen test. This means that 6.21 percent of the new cases were tested. 79 were positive samples by PCR and 530 by antigen test. There are currently 13,218 active cases.
17 people died during the day, which is 9 more than yesterday.
The total number of people infected with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in our country is 1,148,971 people, and 24,289 are medics who have fallen ill so far.
There are 2,053,618 people with a completed vaccination cycle and 737,683 with a booster dose.
