The Turkish Armed Forces (TSG) have so far neutralized 605 terrorists and captured 1,343 weapons of various sizes and 706,650 ammunition belonging to the terrorist organization within the framework of the “Panjak-kilid” operation.
SIA Anadolu Agency reports that commandos destroyed 670 caves and shelters used by terrorists in the operation area.
According to the information provided by the correspondent of the agency, the Turkish Armed Forces continued the operation of the “Panja” series, which they started from Hakurk in the north of Iraq, with Sinat-Haftanin, and then the area of operation was expanded with Metina and Avashin.
2,284 mines and improvised explosive devices planted by terrorists in the region were also destroyed.
