LÄNET (JT) 6,000 households of Jämtkraft’s electricity customers were affected by power cuts between five and eight on Wednesday morning. Large parts of the municipalities of northern Berg, Åre and Krokom were without power for three hours.
At 10:30 on Wednesday, roughly 1,300 electricity customers in the areas around Nälden are still without electricity.
– We have been able to switch the power supply to minimize the number of people without power, says Pär Erik Petrusson Frykman, head of department, electricity grid at Jämtkraft
It is in Jämtkraft’s regional network that feeds western Jämtland that the error occurred.
