60 kilograms of drugs discovered in Offenbach district – FFH.de

The police in Mainhausen (Offenbach district) withdrew around 60 kilograms of drugs with an estimated street sales value of more than half a million euros.

The Darmstadt public prosecutor and the Offenbach criminal police announced that two men aged 25 and 33 were being investigated on suspicion of illegal drug dealing.

Reference to a suspicious vehicle

The police from Frankfurt targeted the accused after a reference to a suspicious vehicle in the industrial park, it said.

The officers had stopped the vehicle occupied by the two men. In the car they discovered a bag with about ten kilograms of marijuana shrink-wrapped in plastic bags.

46 kilograms of marijuana found in depot

When searching the 33-year-old’s apartment, the investigators also found more than four kilograms of marijuana. Most of the drug was stored in a depot in the industrial park: The police found a good 46 kilograms of marijuana and hashish there, which still have to be assigned.

33-year-old in custody

Cash, several cell phones and a combat knife were also seized.

While the younger of the two suspects was at large again, the 33-year-old was taken into custody by a judge on Wednesday. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
