That is admittedly not the latest Android version at the moment, but if you consider that the device came out with Android 5 at the time, it is a very unique fact. For Android standards it is very special that phones are maintained for so long. With Android 10, Fairphone 2 users not only get the latest security, but also new features such as extra privacy settings and dark mode.
