The Ministry of Health and Population published, on its personal page on the social networking site “Facebook,” several tips for taking care of the mental health of children.
In its post on Facebook, the Ministry of Health stated that there are 6 tips for caring for children’s mental health, as follows:
1- Talk to your children in a language appropriate for their ages.
2- Set aside a certain time to play with your children.
3- Help children to communicate continuously with friends and family.
4- Make sure that your children engage in beneficial activities such as painting, cooking or playing at home.
5- Help your children find a way to express their feelings, such as joy, fear, and sadness.
6- Make sure your children do not spend long time playing video games or surfing the Internet.
