Now that Qualcomm has unveiled the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, it’s time for smartphone manufacturers to make their revelations.

1. OnePlus 10 Ultra
It was on the Chinese social network Weibo that OnePlus confirmed that it will launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. September.

2. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition
Like OnePlus, Realme also used the Weibo social network to confirm that the new GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature the improved version of the Qualcomm chip.
But the brand did not advance the release date or reveal specifications. On the other hand, there are also no rumors that advance what we can expect to see in this new Realme terminal.
The only information available is that the design was in charge of the Japanese Naoto Fukasawa, who has already collaborated with Realme in the design of other terminals. 3. Asus ROG Phone 6
In turn, Asus announced on the social network Twitter that the new gaming smartphone ROG Phone 6 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
According to the information released so far, thanks to the integration of this chip, the Phone 6 will have a performance and energy efficiency that is 15% higher than its predecessor.
In other words, with the new Asus ROG Phone 6 users will have 70 more minutes of battery life for games and 14.5 more hours of music playback. Values that promise to conquer the market.
There is no information available about other technical specifications or the terminal’s release date, but we should have access to more details over the next few weeks.
4. Xiaomi 12 Ultra
Xiaomi has not confirmed which of its smartphones will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but it seems that it will be the model aimed at photography 12 Ultra.
The terminal is expected to arrive with this chip at the controls and paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.
The optical part will be one of the strongest arguments of this terminal. The triple rear camera setup will feature the 50 megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor. The remaining sensors will be an ultrawide with 48 megapixels of resolution and a telephoto sensor also with 48 megapixels and 120x digital zoom.

5. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
In August, Samsung is expected to launch the new foldables which include the Galaxy Z Flip4. Recently, leaker Ice Universe revealed that the terminal, equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, had passed through the GeekBench platform.
In addition to the integration of the improved version of the Qualcomm chip, the foldable should also have 8 GB of RAM and variants of 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
Other rumors have also advanced that the device will arrive with a larger battery, now 3,700 mAh, which will support 25-watt fast charging.
6. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
The other foldable that from Samsung arriving in August is the Galaxy Z Fold4 which is also touted as having the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.
The new foldable is expected to have a more square shape than its predecessor. Another news is that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will also be thinner and lighter than the previous model. Remember that the Galaxy Z Fold3 weighs 271 grams and, it seems, the successor will reduce this weight by a few grams.
