A group of medical professionals from the American Cancer Society have listed symptoms that may indicate colon and bowel cancer.
Symptoms of infection with any disease may not appear immediately, especially cancerous diseases, but visiting the doctor reduces the risk of infection and detection in its early stages, which helps the possibility of treating it in a faster time, according to what was stated on the “Sputnik” site.
Therefore, doctors advise individuals, to pay attention to any symptom that may signal the onset of a disease, and the American Cancer Society website has published a set of symptoms that may indicate colon and rectal cancer (bowel cancer), namely: diarrhea, blood flow or part of it in Stool, flatulence accompanied by varying pain, fatigue, fatigue and unexplained weight loss.
Colon and rectal cancer or what is known as colorectal cancer, which is a type of cancer that originates in the colon or rectum (parts of the large intestine), as a result of an abnormal growth of cells that have the ability to attack and spread to other organs in the body.
The site indicated that some signs of cancer may indicate conditions, such as: hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome, or inflammatory bowel disease.
Doctors recommend regular check-ups, because “some cancers of the colon and intestine that are identified in the early stages before the onset of symptoms may be easier to treat.”
In addition, the examination can prevent some colon and intestinal cancers by detecting and removing carcinomas called “polyps”, because colon and intestinal cancer often does not cause symptoms until the tumor grows.
