6 out of 10 unvaccinated in Oslo have something in common.

Foreign-born are overrepresented among Oslo’s unvaccinated. They make up 63 per cent of the unvaccinated, despite the fact that they make up only 34 per cent of the population.

Said Guled is trying to get a drop-in vaccine at the vaccination center in the Old Town of Oslo. There he is met by the town host Adam Tubai. Both are surprised by the low number of vaccinated among those with native Somalia.

After four months in his native Somalia, Said Guled (43) has made up his mind. He wants to be vaccinated against covid-19.

He has finished the ten-day entry quarantine and takes the trip to the vaccine center in the Old Town of Oslo. There will be no immediate success. The vaccine center is empty of vaccines this day. But he gets a vaccination class next week.
