Ouestèrne is a biotope, populated by a fauna of exotic characters, to say the least, whose study of manners and customs could occupy an anthropologist for a lifetime. Helped in his mission by a young journalist who is not cold in the eyes and a debonair assistant, but sensitive and intelligent. Invoking the western in the deep Belgian countryside and injecting it with a dose of “black” is a desire that is difficult to resist.
