6 Killed & Dozens of Spectators Injured Due to the stampede

At least six people died in the chaos ahead of the round of 16 match Africa Cup of Nations 2021 Among Cameroon vs Comoros. Crowded audience sparked a stampede.

In reports circulating, security officials said at least 50,000 people flocked to enter the stadium.

“A number of the injured are in a worrying condition. We have to evacuate them to a special hospital,” nurse Olinga Prudence at the Messassi Hospital was quoted as saying. Sky Sports.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) immediately issued a statement. They will investigate this incident and continue to dig up information related to this heartbreaking incident.
