CHAIRMAN PSSI General Mochamad Iriawan is seeking players Indonesian National Team U-23 those who play abroad can appear on SEA Games 2021. He admitted that he was communicating with each club.
As is known, as many as six Indonesian U-23 national team players are currently working abroad. Call it Elkan Baggott, Egy Maulana Vikri, Witan Sulaeman, Asnawi Mangkualam, Pratama Arhan and Saddil Ramadani.

The possibility of Egy Maulana Vikri and his friends joining the U-23 Indonesian National Team is very small. This is because the 2021 SEA Games are not FIFA’s official agenda and clash with the agendas of their respective clubs. Therefore, foreign clubs have the right to refuse calls from the U-23 Indonesian National Team.
However, the man who is called Iwan Bule emphasized that his party will continue to fight so that athletes from the pride of the country can be allowed to play in Vietnam on May 6-22 2022. Communications built through correspondence continue to be intensified.
“I say that we will continue to communicate because we consider them important to join us,” said Iriawan to the media crew which was also attended by the MNC Portal Indonesia team, after the U-23 Indonesian National Team training session, Tuesday (12/4/2022).
“So we continue to communicate, hopefully it can be realized,” added Iwan Bule.
