The data of the statistical bulletin of the Saudi Capital Market Authority, for the second quarter of this year, showed an increase in the number of companies listed in the main market by 6% to 228 companies.
According to the bulletin, the number of companies listed in the parallel market increased by 100% to 62 companies.
The Capital Market Authority approved offering two companies in the main market and 18 companies in the parallel market during the second quarter of this year, while 4 applications for listing in the main market and 45 applications in the parallel market are still under study.
Investment funds set a new record after rising by 35% year-on-year to 1,130 funds.
