JAKARTA, iNews.id – The police shot the suspected supporters Habib Rizieq Shihab on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road. They were from the Special Forces of the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) who was in charge of controlling Habib Rizieq.
Chair of the Indonesian Police Watch Presidium (IPW) Neta S Pane said the case was against Indonesian law. He urged President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to act decisively by establishing a fact-finding team.
The fact-finding team, according to Neta, will work to investigate the real case. He hopes all parties are watching.
“Is it true that the FPI Laskar carrying weapons and shooting the police? In order for this case to become clear, the members of the Police involved need to be secured first for examination,” said Neta in a written statement, Monday (7/12/2020).
