The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) has officially issued an emergency user authorization (EUA) or an emergency use permit for the Sinopharm vaccine as a booster or follow-up vaccine.
The Sinopharm vaccine used as a booster vaccine is homologous, which means that the third dose of vaccine uses the same type of vaccine as the first and second doses.
