Police said that Ade Armando was beaten by a fellow demonstrator in front of the DPR RI, Central Jakarta. The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Zulpan said Ade Armando was battered by the incident. Ade Armando’s pants were stripped by the masses.

“It is true that Ade Armando was beaten during the demonstration. The first one he hit was not an officer, but by a fellow mass of action,” Zulpan said when contacted by detikcom, Monday (11/4/2022).

“Our police steps to help him. As a result of the beating he was seriously injured, then his pants were taken off,” he added.
