Between April 11-13, 2024, Iasi returns to the attention of the entire medical community in the country through the 5th edition of the National Conference of Modern Neurosciences “Illness Parkinson & Other Movement Disorders”, event coordinated by the Emergency Clinical Hospital “Prof. Dr. Nicolae Oblu”, the “Human Brain Academy” Association (HBA), with the support of the Romanian Neurological Society (SNR) and the Romanian Neurosurgery Society (SRN).
The National Conference of Modern Neurosciences “Parkinson’s Disease & Other Movement Disorders” is a point of reference for the medical community in Iași, an event that has become a tradition, both through the scientific area covered and through participation, succeeding every year in bringing together specialists in neurology, neurosurgery and neurosciences from Romania and abroad, who will share their professional and life experience in the diagnosis and dispensary of patients with Parkinson’s disease.
At this year’s edition, the organizers propose that medical experts, researchers and practitioners from various fields (neurology, neurosurgery, neurosciences, psychiatry, medical rehabilitation, physical therapy, gastroenterology, geriatrics, cardiology, speech therapy, nutrition, urology, family medicine, pharmacy, health and social care) to engage in a constructive dialogue centered on new developments in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, providing a unique platform for knowledge exchange, debate and collaboration.
Also during the event, on April 13, 2024, a special “Patient Journey” session will be organized, dedicated to the stories, experiences and needs of patients and their relatives. Through this initiative, the organizers want to emphasize the importance of the human perspective in the approach to Parkinson’s disease.
The Conference program will include Plenary Sessions with cutting-edge research and case studies, Interactive Workshops to improve practical skills, Satellite Symposia organized by leading companies in the field, presenting innovations and products as well as Networking Sessions.
The event will take place between April 11-13, 2024, at the “Prof. Dr. Nicolae Oblu”, in Hybrid format (Physical presence – The sessions will be held in ONSITE format with ONLINE transmission of the papers).
