The plastic arts association Garonne et Canal is preparing its fifth Autumn Photography Fair.
“For a few years, this photo fair was associated with painting and sculpture, explains the president Michèle Bolhy, but as artists increased, it became difficult to bring together the three disciplines in the same fair. We therefore returned to the organization a few years before the Covid, namely: two separate fairs, in the spring for painting and sculpture and in the fall for photography.”
This exhibition will bring together 180 photographs presented by 20 photographers on the theme of the plant world. The artists of the association will, of course, be present, but there will also be several amateur or professional photographers, coming from Montauban associations or individuals. The association will welcome a guest of honor in the person of Henri Aubron, a great photographer from Montalban, who will present portraits. Henri plays with light, in black and white or color, sometimes provocative, there is always something to wonder about in his photos!
Salon d’Automne at the Salle Delbosc, from September 17 to 24.
Open Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
