Coronavirus in Veneto: the contagion continues to grow in our region, today 10 October. In the last 24 hours, the new cases registered were 589 reported to the bulletin of 17 yesterday with a number of swabs exceeding 10 thousand. However, intensive therapies are stable.
Venice is the worst province with 141 cases, followed by Verona with 125, then 105 in Treviso, 86 in Padua and 71 Vicenza, zero infections in Vo ‘and only 1 Rovigo. Unfortunately, 3 other victims of Covid were also registered: the 3 new deceased are Veronese (the total of deaths in Veneto therefore reaches 2,218). The total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic in Veneto rises to 31,241, and 5,890 are currently positive.

In just 48 hours, Veneto saw an increase of 1,376 positives. The subjects in isolation rise to 11,625 (+344), of which 3,465 positive for Sars Cov2.
325 people (+21) are hospitalized in normal hospital wards, 30 (+1) in intensive care.
