The Ministry of Health reported that the country’s positivity in the last 24 hours was 15.51% and in the Metropolitan Region 16.91%, a figure recorded after carrying out 35,591 new PCR exams and antigen tests.

The Ministry of Health reported 5,809 new cases of Covid-19 in its balance sheet delivered on Saturday 19 November.

Of this number, 2,969 correspond to symptomatic people and 722 have no symptoms, while 2,118 positive PCR tests have not been notified.

In this way, the number of active cases rose to 18,577, considering a 5-day isolation from the onset of symptoms or from the execution of the test, according to the criteria of the Opening phase.

According to the health authority, infections have dropped by 20% in the last week and thirteen regions have reduced their confirmed cases in that period.

The positivity in the country in the last 24 hours was 15.51% and in the Metropolitan Region 16.91%, a figure recorded after carrying out 35,591 new PCR exams and antigen tests.

Unfortunately, there were 35 new deaths from causes associated with the disease, so the total number of deaths since the beginning of the health emergency has reached 62,165.

To date there are 138 patients hospitalized in intensive care, of which 97 assisted by mechanical ventilation. There are therefore 273 critical beds available in the Integrated Health Network.
