57th Belgrade International Theater Festival: Strong, Don’t Agree to Be Someone Else

The Belgrade International Theater Festival was founded in 1967 and is being held for the 57th time. This year, the motto of the event is “Strong, don’t agree to be someone else”, taken from the song of the young local poet Radmila Petroviča.

From October 3rd to 10th, the main program will feature nine shows selected by experts. There are no set selection criteria, so shows are selected that can offer something exciting, good and new.

Meanwhile, in Tunisia, the festival will be held until October 8, and theater lovers will be able to watch 24 performances in different cities and cultural spaces. The event features plays from Libya, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, France and Italy, as well as children’s performances. A special symposium will be organized for professionals, and various creative workshops for other interested parties.
