The verdict against a 38-year-old is expected at the Lüneburg Regional Court today. He is said to have stalked a young woman. After she filed a complaint, he is said to have killed her mother.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, the defendant from the Rostock region originally wanted to kill the 56-year-old daughter from Wrestedt (Uelzen district). He wanted revenge for her criminal complaint. To do this, the man drove to Wrestedt in December last year.
Mother instead of daughter opened the door
There it was not the daughter who opened the front door, but her mother. The defendant allegedly attacked and killed the woman with an iron bar and an ax. After the crime, the 56-year-old reported to the police and was arrested at the scene without resistance. At the start of the trial, the man was silent.
