A 54-year-old man has died after being stabbed once in the chest inside a residence in the Bronx, New York City Police said.
Authorities said the victim’s stepdaughter’s boyfriend may be a person of interest in the case.
According to the police officer’s report, the incident occurred around 11:35 a.m. on 120 Casals Pl in the Co-Op City neighborhood when the victim and suspect got into some sort of dispute that ended in the fatal stabbing.
The 54-year-old man was pronounced dead an hour later, police said.
The person of interest in this case is a man last seen wearing blue sweatpants who fled in an unknown direction. It is still unknown if the incident occurred outside or inside the place.
This is a case under investigation.
