More than half of Spaniards believe that they should force everyone to get vaccinated even if they don’t want to: this is clear from the latest CIS study on the effects and consequences of the coronavirus, where a 54.1% of respondents he is in favor of making vaccination compulsory.
A percentage that grows until 74.4% of the participants in the survey when asked if they think the vaccine should be mandatory for healthcare personnel, nursing home workers and those who work directly with the public.
In addition, the majority of respondents with children between the ages of 5 and 11 show willing to vaccinate their children against COVID-19: 77.4%. However, the percentage of those who believe that vaccination should be mandatory among children of that age is 45.3%, compared to 40.5% who believe that it should not be.
These are data from the progress of the results of the sixth CIS study on the effects and consequences of the coronavirus, held between December 14 and 17.
According to the Ministry of Health, 89.9% of the population over 12 years of age already have the full vaccination schedule in Spain and almost 50% of those over 40 have already received the booster dose.
