NEW YORK.- A Brooklyn man who was found dumped “in a pool of blood“on the bed could have been hit on the head with a hammer who was at his home, law enforcement sources said Thursday, as police officers announced they are seeking to speak with his roommates regarding the case of the murder.
James Hudley, 53was discovered face down in his bed with a head traumainside his apartment on Hinsdale Street, near Linden Boulevard, around 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
his body was decomposed and it seemed that it had been dead for several daysthe sources said.

Roommates wanted in connection to murder
Likewise, it was found a bloody hammer in the apartment, according to sources, which is being investigated as a possible murder weapon.
The New York police confirmed Thursday morning that Hudley’s death was ruled a homicide.
Although the police have not named any suspiciousthe New York Police Chief of Detectives, James vinegarsaid investigators are “looking to talk to roommates.”
Hudley had more than one roommate, the police officer said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
