A cyclist died, hit by a car, on Wednesday, at the exit of Maraussan (Hérault), near Béziers, indicates the fire and rescue services. The accident occurred on a secondary road towards Cazouls-lès-Béziers.
Despite the efforts of the firefighters, sent to the scene of the accident, the cyclist, the 53-year-old man, was not resuscitated. He died at the crash site from his injuries. An investigation has been opened, and investigations by the local gendarmerie brigade are underway, to try to understand more precisely the circumstances of the tragedy.
