In the past 24 hours, 5,256 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the country, according to data from the unified information portal. 53,300 diagnostic tests were performed – 8503 PCR and 44 797 antigenic. The share of positive samples is 9.86%. As of November 30, the active cases are 96,797 – 3,521 more than the previous day.
The workload of COVID wards in hospitals is already approaching the critical limit of 8,000 patients. To date, there have been 7,680 hospitalized with coronavirus, of which 939 have been admitted in the last 24 hours. 676 patients were accommodated in the intensive care units, the day before their number was 656.
The disease claimed the lives of 154 people – 92.21% of them were not vaccinated. 1581 people were cured. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the victims in our country are 23,872, 477,530 people have recovered.
The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Bulgaria is 598,199, among them there are 15,816 medics.
On October 29, 23,164 vaccines were given, and since the beginning of the immunization campaign, their number is 2,847,489. With the completed vaccination, there are now 1,503,885 people, of whom 17,672 have received a booster dose.
