52,295 euros – Volkswagen launches high-performance model ID 3 (+ PHOTO)

The electric Volkswagen ID 3 GTX Performance boasts a power of 240 kW (326 hp) and a top speed of 200 km/h.

The German car company Volkswagen has delighted fans of dynamic driving with the high-performance ID 3 GTX Performance model, which, compared to the current flagship GTX model, is 30 kW more powerful, reaching 240 kW (326 hp). The torque is the same for both models – 545 Nm, which is more than VW’s most powerful V6 turbo engines can achieve.

Technical data shows that the ID 3 GTX Performance will accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, but the top speed, the first of the ID family models, will be limited only to the mark of 200 km/h.

When describing the new product, Volkswagen development director Kais Grīnitz says: “This is the electric partner of our compact sports car icon, the Golf GTI Clubsport.”

It’s not a lie, because the Golf GTI Clubsport reaches 100 kilometers per hour in 5.6 seconds.

Returning to the ID 3 GTX Performance, we should mention the power reserve, which reaches up to 600 km, thanks to the 79 kWh battery, which will be enough for 26 minutes for a 10-80% charge at a fast charger with power at 185 kW.

The cabin will have sports seats, the latest equipment with 12.9 inches, IDA voice assistant with GPT Chat and an improved, intuitive operating concept. The standard equipment already includes a wide range of modern assistance systems, including cruise control with the option to upgrade to ACC automatic speed control, emergency braking assistant “Front Assist” with pedestrian and cyclist recognition system, lane keeping assistant. “Lane Assist”, lane change assistant “Side Assist” ” with warning function for obstacles on the side of the car, traffic recognition and road signs.

ID 3 GTX Performance can already be ordered at brand retailers. In Germany, the price of this model starts at 52,295 euros, which is 2,500 euros more than the GTX.
