According to the social authorities, 52 new corona cases were registered in Hamburg on Wednesday. That is 9 new infections less than a week ago and 15 more than on Tuesday.
According to the social authority, a total of 77,016 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 74,400 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value at 14.6
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell to 14.6. On Tuesday the incidence value was 15.1, on Wednesday a week ago it was 18.4.
Another death
According to the social authorities, 51 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 2 fewer than last reported. 29 corona patients are still being cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,581 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. Another death was registered within one day.
