Out of 850 tests carried out, 52 came back positive for the coronavirus, i.e. a positivity rate of 6.12%. These are 38 contact cases followed and 14 cases resulting from community transmission distributed as follows: Thiès (2), Ziguinchor (2), Diourbel (1), Fann Hock (1), Front de Terre (1), Guédiawaye (1), Pikine (1), Sacré Coeur Polytechnique (1), Popenguine (1), Khombole (1), Pout (1) and Tamba (1).
46 patients tested negative and declared cured.
42 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.
4 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.
To date, Senegal has 10,282 positive cases including 6,822 cured, 209 deaths and 3,252 still under treatment.
