Jean Castex and Olivier Véran detailed the content of the envelope of the Ségur health investment plan during a trip to Cosne-sur-Loire hospital in Nièvre. The state will inject 517 million euros in the health system of the Center-Val de Loire region for reduce debt and modernize institutions. Nationally, the Ségur envelope contains 19 billion euros.
Of these 517 million euros, 214 million are dedicated to deleveraging institutions with the worst finances. This is particularly the case of the Chinon hospital in Indre-et-Loire, whose debt amounts to nearly 8 million euros.
248 million euros will serve to “relaunching investments in health, modernizing establishments, developing the offer of care, follow-up and rehabilitation (SRH) and improving the care of the elderly”, announces ARS Center-Val de Loire in a press release.
The 55 million euros remaining will be distributed for “everyday investments” : purchase or replacement of equipment, small works to improve working conditions in health establishments.
